Hi All,
I am actually looking to replace my existing right control (Start) switch for my 2017 Stelvio. Unless someone knows an aftermarket unit that'd look and work like the original (doubtful)... I'm trying to find out if anyone know of a seller that might have either a used one in good working condition or a brand new one at a reasonable price? TIA PS. Would the one used on Norge fit/work for Stelvio? They looked the same from the photos. |

Don't know the Stelvio BUT my EV switchgear is same as Yamaha Star series. My V11 Le Mans was the same, apart from coloured switch buttons, as Honda Firestorm. Without looking at pictures not sure what they used on the Stelvio but suspect same as either Yamaha or Honda ones.

The internals of the Stelvio right-hand switch are quite complex.
Not sure how different the 2017 is from the 2009/2010 but essentially, on that model, there are five circuits, three of which are discrete: - a simple on/off power for the fog relay - a simple on/off connect to earth for the ABS - a slightly complex hazard circuit with a diode (one way device) incorporated to stop the electricty getting to places it should not The complex combined one is the start/run which incorporates the "touch once to fire" start "feature" (grrrr) and the engine kill. You might find a similar switch from another manufacturer but the connectors will be a PITA to marry up. Suggest you get hold of a Guzzi parts book and start checking the part numbers... This site: suggests that the part number you need is 883543 for non-ABS or 886159 for ABS models, and that anything for 2012-2017 will fit. and this site: suggests that the Norge part is numbered 886160, which may be incompatible. But searching Stein Dinse for 886159 shows that the switch is the same for 2009-2011 Good luck with your quest. |
