Gouda cheese and strawberry jam sandwich.
Counterintuitive & delicious.
Wash it down with a "tango", beer and grenadine.

You're probably right there, my wife's family are North Yorkshire & they love their Christmas cake with cheese.  Christmas just isn't Christmas without it, apparently.

No, Waitrose crisps are much better. And President spreadable butter doesn't contain any oil (and is delicious).

We used to have sugar sandwiches when I was a kid.

Sugar sandwiches, defo favourite as kids and later for super on night shifts. But Waitrose crisps? Maybe a whole new gastronomic experience

Almost as good but not as good as a dripping butty (bread dolloped with dripping). Puts hairs on your chest it does!

As for crusts. You’ll always have curly hair if you eat crusts.

As for that woman complaining of getting a loaf full of crusts. Had it been me, it would have been a birthday, Xmas and Easter all rolled into one! She obviously doesn’t know how to bring up children.

Kippers and custard have always been a personal favourite but not being a sandwich it doesn't count.

Is this thread getting too too silly?
