Not really. The V7iii I did testride had bar end mirrors.
I was afraid that I would be hampered by them with my big hands.
During the ride I had no problems.
I will not fit them to my bike because of the increased width and of the style I like.

I have Oberon bar end mirrors on my V7, the version I had worked great with the Renthal bars I fitted, but I had to modify them to fit once I changed my bars to clip-ons. I think they do a version of them that will work fine on the standard bars or official MG clip-ons, I just didn't want to spend out again

I use a Halcyon 830 round mirror on my Cafe Classic.  Just one, as this mirror is superb, I can see the offside and completely behind me, this is what I use to monitor behind and decide if it safe to do whatever I intend to do. I make a life saver when moving back towards the left after an overtake or leaving a roundabout, no left hand bar end mirror required here.
The Halcyon mirror is high quality, stainless steel and looks great on my V7.
