Got fed up with backache when doing various jobs on the Stelvio, so I did something about it.
Been meaning to make one for ages . . . Small Cradle bolts on in place of the Centre Stand. |

Bravo Doc
That's similar to my EazyRizer. Out of curiosity what have you bolted it to on the bike?

See the second Photo Tris.
Hollow 'Boss' slips over the 'Stub' on the Frame Plate on the right, Stub on the left goes into the Hole in the left Plate. 10mm Allen Screw goes through the Hollow Boss and into the Thread in the Boss on the R/H Frame Plate. |

It was the second pic that triggered the question Doc!
I was trying to work out if the frame on my B11 was the same as your Stelvio so had the same mounting points Have you got a center stand on that bike?

I do have the Stand, I removed it a few weeks ago as it's a bit rusty, and I needed to re-make the buffer that bears on the Exhaust Plate/Bracket.
Didn't miss having it really, it's only really needed when working on the Bike at home. The 'Cradle' for the Lift fits to the Bike in the same way the Stand does. |

Aha - that makes sense!
When I first got my EazyRizer attaching it to the bike was tricky and seeing what you had done made me wonder if I had missed a couple of "useful" holes!! I now lift mine using the pegs and a block under the sump which takes a bit of finessing every time, so a simple bolt on would be preferred However, I like the center stand especially as I now one have one of those trolleys that allows me to spin the bike inside the garage, rather than giving myself a hernia outside on the gravel drive with a 13 point turn! |
