canisterectomy
As I'm a not native english speaker I have to break up that word.
Canister, rectom and yyyyy Shocked
Looking at the size of that canister it would really be an iiiiiii Ouch
Not my cup of tea
I will leave it up to you LOL

So things to do (not nessecery in this order):
Design a rollerscate.
Design a real centerstand.
Make a lock for the SW-motech Legend gear side bags (or fix them permanently to the bike).
They seem the same as the BMW R9T sidebags (according to the BMW-shop) but BMW also have no lock for them.
Contact Hyperpro to get some real spings, with the current ones I get a kick rolling of every speedbump.
Contact Theo Terwell for getting the front and rear mudguard and the sidepanels painted in my own design.
Tighten the nut of my RAM mount.
If all goes well investigate having a cruisecontroll. Speed is controlled by a steel cable so that's the same as on my R1150R.

Sorry, copied that word from a US forum.
ectomy is when some part of a body is surgically removed.

Quite a common thing over there to remove them, they have had them longer than us due to the California regulations.

Google charcoal cansiter

Placed in the fuel tank vent line, it absorbs gasoline vapour and prevents it reaching the outside atmosphere.

Well if Peter removes his he can post it to you. All you then need to do is plug it in and wait.

You'd better use it as a gasmask than.

As I'm in for a challenge, I've started modeling.
First taking rough measurements and planning how to accomplish getting the stand and keeping the canister before someone get some idears.

Just started, but here is a rough sketch.

Grey is the frame and the canister, red is the exhaust, green is the baseplate.
I intend to use the original bracket, the one that was removed when mounting the H&B stand.

You will need to enable 3D in Adobe Acrobat Reader (on linux that won't work).

That's a heck of a lot of effort just to lift the front wheel! How often are you expecting to have to take it out?
V7 Classic Black and gold was the best. But green & black was nice too. Now blue is in!

It seems a lot of effort, but I'll try to describe what I have to do to get the bike in and out.

The yellow bike is standing in the doorway of the access to the storidgerooms below the appartnemts.
I have to "row" the mirrors to get in.
At the end of the corridor I need to put the bike with it's centerstand on a trolley.
Than I have to rotate te bike to the next green bike.
It's not nice to have to lift the front wheel as the weight is 40kg (measured it with a scale).
Now I can move the bike to the second green position.
The bike needs to point like is shown and I need to swing the back to the red bike.
At this point I need to get the front of the bike inline with the corridor.
At this moment I need to lean on the luggagerack with about 80kg to lift the front wheel to do that.
From the rear of the bike my arms are to short to do the steering.
Having casters under the trolley, that would go in all directions but the right one if I would walk around and try pushing it.
When I have moved to the red position I need to slide the frontwheel sideways while pushing the rear of the bike in the room while standing on the right side of the bike on the outside of the room.
In the corridors yellow to green and green to red I just can stand next to the bike (less than 1m wide).
I made the scematic drawing when I was thinking about buying my R1150R.
My testride included fitting it in the storidge.
With the new bike I ordered a centerstand and got a paddocstand, just lifting the rear wheel.
As I need a real centerstand a paddocstand is not a permanent solution. I find the name H&B uses for the device is misleading as it is not below the center of gravity of the bike.

Going out:
I start with the red bike. I need to slide the frontwheel sideways to get the bike inline with the corridor.
At the green bikes I can turn right only having to slide the rear wheel sideways (on the trolley).
Now at the right green bike, the bike is pointing to the yellow one. As I already have opened the outside door, I can get the bike off the trolley and roll it out, rowing the mirrors where the door is.
