Fab. Big smile Can't remember how far the screw protruded out the back, don't think it's that much.

I was surprised how little of the screw sticks out of the locknut.  Maybe 3 mm.

Definitely something wrong with it - mine's never done that!

The gearboxes do behave - occasionally LOL

so, now the LMII might just be running okay, I'm thinking about a bit of a run-out.

Sunday 19th Sept, planning to take the LMII to Loomies (nr. Petersfield, Hants) - weather permitting !!!

My son will also take my 2002 V11 Le Mans.

Anybody in south of England fancy going along ??

the weather doesn't seem to want to cooperate, the forecast is for heavy rain, so the ride to Loomies will be postponed.

I'll have look at the weather for next weekend later in the week

Sold already. Great looking bike.

I am the lucky new owner. Previously owned by someone on this site, it has had a lot of work done to it to a good standard. Looking forward to some decent weather to re-acquaint  myself with Guzzi riding after a 40 year break!
