If he has a Paypal account linked to his email then if that email is in his profile only forum members could find it so contributions could be sent without putting an email here where it could get picked up by spammers, search engines, etc.

It is not uncommon for forums to ask for donations from happy members to help pay running costs, Wild Guzzi and Guzzitech do.
I have asked BRian previously for his paypal address so that i could make a donatioin, but he is uncomfortable with payment. |

I just did a test payment to see if it was paypal address, it went through. Reckon i will just make a contribution, if he gets offended he can always send it back, not meant maliciously Brian
If you use yourpaypal paying from a debit card or bank account and stateit is a gift then there is no fee to pay Edited by Jim Mac - 12 Apr 2015 at 22:08 |

Yes, that is the correct email. Thanks Jim, got a note from PayPal.
Yes, we are coming up to our first anniversary so the next year's payment will be due, BUT this is expected to be around £70 only, I don't want to be responsible for a surplus.

Brian, I have checked your profile and see no email address only the facility to email you.
Is this address visible only to moderators or am I missing the obvious? Thanks Darryl |
