I can’t remember if this suggestion has been made before and if it was met with wild applause or total indifference, but what about having a weekend meet up? Not a rally because that conjures up in my mind loud music, stalls selling cheap tat, poor food and even worse sanitation. Ideally it should include the option of both camping facilities and hotel accommodation in the hope that it would attract not only forum members but also their families. The venue needs to be agreed on by all forum members who probably have the best knowledge of the facilities in their area.
V7 Classic Black and gold is the best colour but green & black is nice too!

I think Johnno suggested a midlands meet a while back, somehow we never got around to organising anything...

But yes, I'd be interested providing it's springtime or later. I mean after the salt season is over Clap

Got a feeling Bob was thinking more in terms of a quiet camping w/e (with alternative B&B facilities) LOL

stalls selling cheap tat, poor food and even worse sanitation.

That reminds me of my stint in Libya, one of the best experiences of my life, even us getting detained at the airport couldn't take the shine of it!

Got to agree with the consensus , for me rallies is a no!

Days of muddy fields is past for me too, not above a bit of glamping, but some hostelry with decent good and beer would get me interested.

Perhaps start with something low key like a breakfast/lunch meet at a cafe?
