All registered members can post pictures, either by copying the IMG code of a picture hosted on Photobucket or similar and pasting it into a post, or you can use the image upload ikon above the new post and full reply box. This also allows you to upload from your own computer, but there is a size limit to save space.

Photobucket is no longer a free facility to use with the forum, so find another picture sharing web facility.

What is the size limit? Am getting pics resized, don't mind smaller pics but it is messing with the resolution which is annoying..

400KBb per picture, total of 10Mb per member.
If you want to show high res pictures, better to link to a 3rd part host.

Only if they are made public. If you have to sign in to FB, then many will not be able to see them.

Correct. On the FB album or pic, there is an options sction that gives you a link to share with anyone also without a FB account, but it is just a link. Like this for example from my mag FB page: https://www.facebook.com/ITALIANMOTORMAG/photos/a.137351866310309.22015.124570650921764/841516995893789/?l=8ffc9f6422

Okay, having a bit of a 'mare here. I've uploaded a photo - I can see it when I'm writing the text, it's only 115KB, yet when I preview or post it disappears. There is an outline but no picture.  What am I doing wrong?

I tried the image path as a web address, and got "Server Error, 404 - file or directory not found. The resource you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable."

If you need to resize pictures because they are larger than the 400k allowed by this forum, try using one of these.

Just a note to say Photobucket no longer supports sharing on forums unless you pay them quite a lot of money. Other free sites can be used however.

Does it have a web address?

Put its Internet address between [ img ] and [ /img ] (remove spaces)

Must be in the form - http: // domain_name / sub_path_if_any / filename.ext (remove spaces)

where .ext (file extension) = .jpg or whatever.
