I've had extremely damaged 2 stroke cylinders done by them, faultless.

Thanks for the replies.
I've just had a used piston delivered, so will be sending the cylinder to Lancourts. I'll let you know how it goes.

The replated cylinder turned up today, all seems good.
I would have posted a few pics, but no idea how to.

I managed yesterday to post pictures from my PC, it took me an hour to post 2 pics, including necessary re-sizing, I'd be incapable today to explain it to someone else ! Cry

Not at all rude.
The cost was about £180 including postage both ways. The cylinder came back ready to fit.

May I ask, where you found your 2nd hand piston?

I also had one cylinder of my V50II replated, but was unable to find spare pistons, either new or used, so I reused my old one. For now, the moment the motor is running very sweetly.

But ... if I came across a good condition "c" tolerance size piston, it would be nice to have. 2 new piston/little end bearing/gudgeon pin sets would be even better.

Gutsibits supplied the used piston.

[/QUOTE]

The ebay listing says it`s a V50/3 piston but the gudgeon pin is only correct for a V50 /2 at 15mm also the crown looks to be non standard and may be a low compression variant, all a bit confusing.
