I might have a NOS rear light unit that will replace that, I'd need to see some more pics to be sure it is a match.
If you PM me your email address I'll send you some pics direct and you can see what you think (I can't be bothered with all the wretched resizing that these boards require).

Had to have my T3 tank and side panels resprayed about 5 years ago.
Went to my local garage/body shop for the spraying (black) and got the pinstripes made up as transfers by The Image Works at 4 Merlin Way, Stanton by Dale, Ilkeston DE7 4RA. Took the tank and side panels over there and they spec'd it up from there. Cost me about £30 at the time. I was very happy with the results, but I'm not looking for absolute originality. Hope this may help and good luck with the recommissioning. Mike

Thanks for this. I'm liking your work , will hopefully start pulling her apart at the end of the month and will then be in contact. I am thinking of leaving the engine and gearbox till last after getting the rolling chassis back together due to lack of space to work so trying to do it in sections.

Hi all,
Will be sending the tank and side panels off for painting soon and am wondering what other colour options were available for an 850T in 1974 (my 75 T was made in 74). The original is brown and whilst sense would be to keep it in brown I have to say it's not a great colour so got thinking about other colours it was sold in that would be age correct. I have seen pictures of a metallic blue and red but don't know if they are genuine and period correct. If anyone has any advice on where to find out I would be most grateful. Cheers Fugly

I might have an indicator lens. Pm me an email address and I will send a pic of what I have to see if it's the same.

You could search a well-known, popular and informative Guzzi owner/rider forum for the information... http://www.guzziriders.org/paint-codes_topic989.html Going to edit the title for this thread? It's a 'T', right? |
