Test ride all seems working OK time to book first MOT for ten years. Easy bike to ride great for old boy like me.

Phoned my insurance RH Motorbike insurance to add Nevada to Ariel Golden Arrow insurance, total cost nil, no admin fee. That's what I call service.
Worth giving them a call for multi bike insurance plus other benifits.   https://www.rhspecialistinsurance.co.uk/classic-motorcycle-insurance.
Time to sell the Golden Arrow need funds for next project.

I did put Arrow on Yahoo forum last year when restoring. Not been active on that forum since then. Returned to my favourite motorcycle manufacturer Moto Guzzi

Any recomendations for tyres for Nevada 750. existing tyres are two different makes and soon due for replacement. Would prefer tyres that give good grip and reasonable life.
Oh, and if they cost less than five pounds ten shillings and sixpence that would be good

Are you showing your age a bit there George?

Perhaps you can get them on "Easy terms" ie, five and six a week for however long it takes.Do Pride & Clark still do 'em?

MOT today, passed. Put 20 local miles on, very pleased.
As this is a restoration I will check over this weekend before venturing further.
I agree with other post regarding MOT certificate, thought tester had given me invoice and asked for certificate.

I've Pirelli Sport Demons  on my Breva but it has  17" wheels  , they are available in 16" rear and 18" front  which I think are the Nevada sizes  . Work fine for me  but can't comment on life yet  and they cost a tad more than  a fiver  although maybe that's just the exchange rate....

Had another short ride, back brake stopped working. Stripped master cylinder, seal split. Ordered seal kit.
Just goes to show worth while taking it easy after restoration
