hi looking at options for single seat on my 67, the only offering from usual suppliers looks a bit on the small size to me but wondered how others who actually have one find it?
Regards Chris

Have you looked at the "Gutsibits" offering? Apparently a copy of the original police saddle.Rather expensive though.

Hi Dave, yes that looks similar to the one at "Stein-Dinse" but both showing no stock at the moment, off subject but ordered some front mudguard stays from Stein that had 3-5 week delivery quoted and gave up after 5 months of waiting and ordered some from US.
Have looked at several Harley styled seats but they are all too narrow for the loop frame, will have to bite the bullet and order one from somewhere expecting bodywork back from paint (hopefully) soon.

Regards Chris

I have bought a sprung custom seat from Germany for mine, which I think looks good. I wouldn't have put it on if I hadn't done a bit of painting as mine is a Police bike. If and when I go back to standard it will have the proper seat, but for now I like funky!

Wouldn’t mind the supplier details, my bike has done hardly any miles, is red with white mudguards, do like the black chrome police version with single seat might convert it

That looks like a nicely made seat but there isn't much depth for padding. Is it comfy?

It is sprung (springs from ebay - short rounded type) and they will place the fitments to suit you - no charge.
I haven't ridden the bike yet, but sitting on it in the shed going vroom vroom, it feels comfortable!

Also, I've seen many adverts now for leather solo and other seats, what you gonna do when you're caught in the rain?
