Hi Everyone, Bellagio owner in East Berkshire, bought it brand new April 2009 from Corsa Italiana when they were in Colliers Wood, SW London before they moved to Hersham, sadly closed down about 3 years ago now. Only modification is I've replaced dual stacked pipes with a QD Tech can. Looking forward to Lockdown 3.0 finishing here in the UK as keen to look at new V7 850. Cheers! Mark

Welcome to the forum.
I too am keen to try the new V7/850, back to back with the updated V85TT. Are you keeping the Bellagio if you plump for the V7? The Bellagio seems to be well regarded from what I've read on forums.

Hello and welcome to the forum. I think quite a few people, myself included are looking forward to seeing the 850/V7.
I have always fancied a Bellagio it's a great looking and I'm told riding bike. Any chance of a picture?

Welcome to Guzziriders ... Bella is a great bike never quite understood why they did not make more of that cracking engine, The newer V7 & 850 look interesting .... There are a few Bella owners These lock downs are awful but hopefully the Summer will be vaccinated up and free to ride
Knew Ducati Paul quite well was gutted when Corsa died, but then our local Guzzi shop "Twiggers" also folded, had they not then this Covid debacle would have done for them as it has way too many businesses

Thanks all for the friendly welcome! Took the V85 TT for an hour not long after they came out, ScooterCafe in Maidenhead, full Guzzi dealer except they can't do the California range simply cos they can't get those large bikes in the door! Good bunch at ScooterCafe with Mike, John and Mason the mechanic. Was impressed with the V85 TT, engine felt very similar to my Bellagio, 79hp for the V85 versus 74hp Bellagio. My 936cc engine not as smooth as 853cc but louder and also more character but that's to be expected as 936cc designed back in about 2007. @Ken, think it was Euro 4 emissions that killed the Bellagio engine? Decided then to keep the Bellagio for a few more years. May 2019 when I parked up Bellagio before taking V85 TT out for a test ride: Bellagio from left side showing QD can Up to 2008 for quite a few years I'd had 2 bikes in the garage, always very different ones, in fact it was nearly always a single and a twin, some pairings included Hardly Able Sportster & Suzuki DRZ400, Ducati Monster 1000 & CCM404 SuperMoto, Triumph Thruxton & KTM 640 Duke. Sold the Duke in 2008 relunctantly (car had been stolen and needed cash to help purchase another car) so down to 1 bike, then px-ed Thruxton for Bellagio in 2009. Anyway went back to 2 bikes last summer as SM itch that kept annoying me needed to be firmly scratched so after deciding against physically large V85 TT went for a lightweight KTM 690 SMC-R. The 690 SMC-R's quality is superb! Great fun but rather focussed I'm very keen to test ride the V7 850, Corsa did let me use their V7 demo years ago for the day when Baldrick was giving Bellagio it's first service but V7 engine back then was just too soft compared with the Bellagio. But power hike to 65hp (although I suspect that's at crank) and hopefully sub-200kg and the fact I've always liked the look of the V7 means a test ride is definately needed @Mike, maybe I'll sell the Bellagio for the V7 850, or maybe the KTM would go as Bellagio is possibly becoming a bit of a modern classic? But 2 Guzzis in the garage may mean one doesn't get used? If I'm un-impressed by the V7's new engine then maybe both Bellagio & KTM would go to make way for the updated V85 TT? Or maybe I'll keep the Bellagio & KTM Cheers! Mark |
