Out on  a trip up north of Scotland. Stopped to fill up petrol  only to see that when i switched  bike on again that  it didnt light up, making me put in the security  code and then running with the dashboard restricted

Cant see mug wax and red warning light on all the time,  with signal saying g service showing

Bike runs fine but dash doesn't clear.  Tried changing for my emergency key - both genuinely to dash hit still the same  - discuss

Possibly the antenna for the immobiliser has become dislodged or there is a bad connection.

It's under the ignition lock, a small loop of wire.

I think it's under the top yoke. No need to remove the switch.

Thanks Brian, i got that elsewhere.  it appears you have to lift the top yoke to get to the barrel,  good old guzzi, never make it easy when you can make it hard

You make it easy for the crims just by unplugging the dash unfortunately.
From memory the ignition switch is held by two security snap-off bolts.

There are some very aggressive people on that other forum Jim.
If you've load tested the battery then it's OK.
My Norge has had battery failure, but never lost sight of that antenna.
