it does not cost that much to get a good dealer to sort it and far less than buggering it up yourself first check the rubber carb intakes are not cracked and there are no leaks at the exhaust joints

Thanks, Ken; I am on the Herts /Cambridgeshire Border near Royston SG8 and Duxford near the Imperial War Museum on the M11.

I would rather work on recommendation from a trusted source, as opposed to walking in to an unknown provider and dropping my trousers and saying "BOHICA".....

Thanks!!!

there is a screw in the ecu , non conductive screwdriver to be used , treat it as a mixture screw . 270 deg of turn available NO MORE . you will NEVER get rid of all the 'farting ' .
OR go and see Mel Robinson in Glasgow.
he is the person I call when i'm stuck !

that's the one I got adjusted and my bike is easier to live with. I now think it would be best to go to a tuner rather than a moto guzzi dealer im thinking Baines racing or BSD

A quick update.

I thought I'd start with the simple, obvious, and basic stuff...

I checked the inlets and the rubbers where they mate with the cast manifold and the throttle bodies.

All 4 clamps were pretty loose, so gave them a tweak.

Result? About 90% of the problem (when hot) has gone so I will see if I can live with it.

Thanks to all for their input and assistance.

Pete
