Hi all,
my Cornwall trip is approaching and, as done in the past, I woudl like to tap the wisdom of this forum for suggestions concerning Cornwall. The place where I will stay is already booked and I will be staying in a village called St Agnes.
I am interested in beautiful roads you think I should not miss, villages where you think I could make a pause and idyllic pubs where to fight dehydration...
I have obviously started to read travel guides but I still prefer the impression of the Guzzi crowd...
Thanks
O

P.S. Full disclosure: it will be in a BMW bike...

Weve been a few times... you are wise to get there before the main tourist season. We had a great evening at a pub near Penzance ... not sure of the name, and to be honest it was a few years ago, these things change so quickly now. However, if you like fresh sea food ... and a bit of WW2 history go to Britannia at The Beach, Beesands, Kingsbridge TQ7 2EH. Slapton sands are nearby... lots of history there.
Its literally a shack on the beach with a fishing boat on the other side of the road, cooking the freshest fish ever.

Thanks Zecis!! Yes I was hoping to find less traffic in April, and I decided that it is not really worth waiting for July/August as the weather could be bad anyway! Confused

II've not been on the bike, but west of Penzance is stunning. Have a look at the  Minack Theatre.  Won't be plays on in April, but the thetre itself is worth a look.

Skip Landsend. Unless you park up somewhere and walk along the coast path to it.

Good surfing at St Agnes, but you’ll want a steamer this time of year.

Take a trip out to Cape Cornwall just down the road from St Just and check out Charles De Gaulle taking a bath just off shore.
