Currently both brackets are held by cable ties instead of bolts under the lower triple. With a tad of silicone to dampen the vib.
Hopefully the threads are intact and they just need the screws. Seems the forks need removing to get to one of the screws, so that's my next task. I'll check the dash PCB for corrosion too as the clocks do mist. That's this weekend planned.

Threads in the headlight support brackets are OK. Just 2 new M8 screws needed. Length isn't specified in the manual.
Don't know why the stem base has threads in the holes that take the M8 support screws. The holes are oversized. possibly M10. The manual shows 4 M6x12 screws for the dashboard plate and only two free spinning M6 nuts for the headlight support, so that'll be right. Wasn't sure. Too late to do any more tonight... Bit dark as had other chores |
