Guzziriders Forum Privacy Statement
When you join this forum you are asked to give a small
amount of information about yourself.
You specify a username and a password of your choice. These
are used to log in to the forum and keep your account here secure. You also
have to provide a valid email address. This is so the registration process can
be completed and also allow you to request a new password should you forget it.
You can also choose to receive emails from the forum informing you of new posts
or private messages, however this is your choice, and you can change that
preference at any time.
You are also required to provide your real name and location
area. This helps to prevent trolling on the forum and the location also helps
others to answer your queries more accurately when they know approximately
where you are.
The forum also stores your IP address. Again this is for
security reasons. All new registration IP addresses (and email addresses) are
checked against an anti spam database before allowing a registration.
There are other optional questions such as date of birth,
gender, Skype name etc. which you can give if you wish.
All the personal information you give is stored in the
forum, and apart from your username, is only visible to you and the admin staff
of the forum. The data will never be shared with any other person or body, and
search engines cannot see it.
But, members are advised that any personal information they
post on open forum (email, telephone) can be seen by all, and this includes all
the search engines and so on which trawl the internet. This forum cannot take
any responsibility for any consequences resulting from this.
You can view all the personal data stored at any time by
clicking the link in your Member Control Panel.
If you are not happy with your personal data being stored
here, you are free to leave the forum at any time, however you must inform the

The forum also places a cookie on your computer in order to
log you back in to the forum and remember which posts you have already read.
