The above photo' shows a front mounting bracket on a spare Loop Frame seat that I have.My other two seats, fitted to bikes at present, do not have this bracket.Does anyone know if this was standard at some time or perhaps a PO addition?
Thanks in anticipation.

Only the V700 dual seat had that front bracket as far as I know.

Thanks, Charlie. This seat is missing the two rear forked brackets though the slots for them are present. Is that also standard for the early V700 seat.

The V700 seat I have has front, mid and rear mounting points, but it's possible that Guzzi had a variation without rear ones.

I am not sure what your progress is but just in case..
I have a single (quite large) solo seat that came with my bike.
I am trying to sell it (if anyone is interested Pm me for pictures).
