Hi Guys,

Bought my V11 LeMans a couple months ago and loving it - its my first Guzzi.

The bike is 2002 and has 45000 miles. I'm the fourth owner. The guy I bought it from had it for 10 years and put on most of those miles but he'd stopped using it in the past couple years. Its in generally ok condition but the forks and shock are a bit saggy.

I can't face up to the cost of Ohlins or WP, does anyone have a recommendation that won't break the bank?

Thanks Martin.

I actually have an immaculate Daytona 1000 shock wrapped up somewhere in the garage.  If you think this would fit I'll go and dig it out.  Bought on a whim (an expensive one) thinking it might suit another of my bikes but probably best going somewhere useful!

Thanks for the offer, but I don't know the ranges well enough to say if a daytona shock would fit.

Have been busy scanning spec sheets online and found this - sounds like a good split between price & quality. Anyone got any experience of them?

Thanks

Early Daytona's featured a different shock to later models didn't they ? D'Ya know what year this one is for BE ? Is it a WP ?

After a few days of changing my mind over and over again I've ordered one of the single adjustable units from MarksMotorcycleParts. Will let you know how it fits & works.

It arrived last week and is really nice quality. I had a run out at the weekend and was pretty impressed. Straight out of the box it was good if a little firm so I backed it off a couple clicks and its great. I only have 100 miles on it so far but I'm really happy with it. Roll on the spring and dry roads to really try it out properly.
