That looks better than the Ronald MacDonald colour scheme. Off road capability. Really needed to negotiate a hazardous grass and gravel area getting into the camp site?
V7 Classic Black and gold is the best colour but green & black is nice too!

The V85 is really starting to grow on me.  My interest in Guzzis pretty much ends at the end of the 1970s - I did have a Griso for a few months but while it looked fabulous, I found it very disappointing to ride.  My current touring bike is a Tiger 800 which pretty much ticks all the boxes I need in a modern bike, but if the V85 really does have 80+ bhp, isn't gutless at the bottom end, and is a similar wet weight to the Tiger 800, then I reckon I might fancy one.  I think I'll have to have a close look when they arrive in UK.

I think it's a pity that this bike is so late to the party; should have been out two years ago at the very least.

I agree , still think it will be good for guzzi but the price still seems a bit high

The test sounds good to me as well and I'm really looking forward to a road test.        I also agree that hopefully it should be good for Guzzi but, there is always a but, I think to be really competitive the price is a bit steep. But I may be wrong and it may be worth paying the extra. I hope so.

Wonder if their research people have sorted that one out yet?

I hope so Brian, but doing so might imply that they were perhaps wrong in the first place. As I understand, it, (from a friend who worked for many years in an Italian car company) the Italian designers/engineers are never wrong; it is the inability of everyone else to understand, and adapt to, the 'right' way of doing specific things that is the problem.  So no, I doubt that anything has changed.

Called into my local Guzzi stockist a few days back - OnyerBike (A41 a few miles out of Aylesbury) - they expected to have a V85TT demo bike in that day, but now expect it by next Friday (March 20th).

Just mentioning it in case anyone fancies seeing one in the flesh, or booking a demo ride

Well that same "fault" has been there since the 70s, so I won't hold my breath.
