Hi all

I’m looking for a California,  prefer a Stone or Jackal but will consider any model.   Ready to go or a bit of a project.  Preferably year 2000 onwards.  I’m in Chelmsford and prepared to travel for the right bike.

Here is a possible contender. It has the tubeless wheels but early enough not to have the flakey chrome finish on them. If it has the early large ecu partially under the riders seat be prepared for some seat improvement work!   https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/125880582852

Thanks Andrew, I had seen this on E bay and it’s slightly over my budget.  It’s also a cat N bike, which doesn’t really bother me but that should knock about 20% of the value.  Regards Steve

If £2800 is over budget you are looking for a dog mate

My budget is £2500,  if the one at £2800 hasn’t sold in a few weeks then the market says it’s not worth £2800.   I’m confident one will turn up because I’ve seen a few last year but wasn’t ready to go for one then.  I Dont mind a bike that needs some work as I’m Buying to keep.  (Still regret selling the stone I had 4 years ago)

I have now found a bike, an 1100 Jackal and very happy with it.   Came in under my budget and was a bit of a trek at 540 mile round trip to collect.  Needs a full service and cosmetic tidying.
