I've recently got a new phone, an android apparently. I can read the forum on the phone but can't contribute 'cos I haven't got "Permission".
How do I obtain that "Permission please? |

Have you managed to log in OK? Sounds as if that's the problem. Presumably it will be running Chrome as the browser.

My stupidity Brian,I was thinking that I'd get straight on as the phone is almost an extension of the PC in email terms,but of course it isn't.So I tried to log on but of course I've forgotten my password.I hit the appropriate button and was giver the message "email sent" but it hasn't arrived.I'll try again tomorrow.

Still not received the email? Not been diverted by a spam filter or anything? Do TalkTalk have spam filters on their servers? I know BT do and caused me not to receive stuff until I disabled it. The password you set is encrypted, there is no way anyone can find out what it was. I can set a new password for you but would have to tell you what it was by email as once set you wouldn't be able to log in. You could then change it to one of your choice.
