The first thing you will want is a test ride, so check out https://www.motolive.co.uk/ to see if Piaggio are running an event near you.
Brian.

Keep looking at new Guzzi's and Meh, rode a 1200 sport hoping it would be similar to my old M1000 Monster, and it was a bag of lard.

I got this back from Nick Broomhall at Piaggio UK PR regarding a dealer demonstrator list.

"Demos are run individually (rather than being controlled centrally), so a list would have to be manually compiled and updated (and rely on dealers keeping us informed) and we just don’t have the resource to do that.  That said, you’ll find that the dealer demo fleet is healthier than it’s been in recent years…

BTW, the Guzzis were very popular on Moto Live and we sold two Norges, a Griso and two V7s from the five events, plus whatever comes through from the interest it generated."

Is the 1200 Sport lardier than the Griso then?

I'm trying to decide between trying to find a second hand Griso 1200 or 1200 Sport for track riding, if the 1200 is the slower/lardier bike, it helps narrow my selection.

I have just sold my Breva 1100. Its basically an 1100 Sport with a decent pillion perch.

I had the suspension set up for fast road riding, including an uprated shock...and IMHO the most important thing..the correct tyres.

I'm not Valentino Rossi but I'm no slouch either and it definitely didnt handle like a bag of lard!
